PROJECTS:

– Capstone project: Worked in a team of four students building a web-based office management system for Spice Tree Apartments in Ann Arbor. Collected the requirements from the client, designed the UI, built the prototype and database, directed the team on Trello and successfully delivered a completed software meeting the designated deadline. We used HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP5.5, and MySQL.

– Pair programming project: designed the UI and co-implemented the database using PHP and MySQL for an online bookstore. This was a semester long project for my Database Principles course.

– Created and managed the website for the Women in Computer Science organization at Eastern Michigan University using HTML5 and CSS3. (http://www.emich.edu/studentorgs/wics/) Sep 2013 – Sep 2015.

LEARDERSHIP ACTIVITIES
– Served as a board member and webmaster for the Women in Computer Science at EMU organization.

– Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society of Community College Students

– Attended the 2015 Michigan Celebration of Women in Computing conference.

– Published Art (oil paintings) in Huron River Magazine (issue 11), Blood Orange (issues 15, 16).

– Volunteered as a tutor in a Digital Diva Conference of Eastern Michigan University and in a local library workshop.
